Following the series of Cloud Next 2018 Events that were being conducted in various international locations including San Francisco and Tokyo. The main objective of these conferences was to introduce the new initiatives that the multinational technology company, Google will be coming forward with.
With the Cloud Next Event in Tokyo, Google specifically shared few plans regarding the Google new initiative and its focus on the Japanese market. Some of these announcements made by Google consisted of new initiatives like the Association Cloud Engineer certification, the translation of Machine Learning by using the TensorFlow on Google Cloud Platform.
Along with these initiatives, it was also announced that the Google new Advanced Solutions Lab will soon be launched in Tokyo, Japan. This Advanced Solution App is similar to the ones that were previously launched in places like New York, Ireland, and Dublin. The main objective of these labs is to offer an range of advanced facilities like a highly collaborative workspace for professionals and various machine learning-centric training courses.
With the announcement of Google’s new AI Program, the company also stated their collaboration with well-known brands in the retail industry. This ‘Fast Retailing’ collaboration targets towards making the retail sector much more faster with the help of Google and new machine learning technologies to escalate the growth in retail.
One of the brands that Google is working with is ‘Uniqlo’, a Japanese company that designs, manufactures, and retails casual wear. Tadashi Yanai CEO of Fast Retailing further plans on using collaborative tools like G Suite to take their demand forecasting to the new level. Mr. Yanai also stated, ‘The access to information is one of the foundations of the project ‘Ariake’ as it empowers employees traits like logic and judgment capabilities’.
